Now, we have forums which are meant to give tips to hackers as well. One such forum is called OG Users and it is one of the most popular hacking forums on the internet right now.
In a new report that has emerged, OG Users has reportedly been hacked and this is not even the first time that a hack on the forum took place. It is revealed that this is the second time in a span of 12 months that the forum has been hacked meaning that there is a loophole which someone is exploiting repeatedly.
According to an official statement giving information about the hack, they said “It appears that someone was able to breach the server through a shell in avatar uploading in the forum software and get access to our current database dating April 2, 2020,”.
Now, it is obvious that hacking forums will have the best of security and they will also know how hacks take place meaning that they would have taken care of everything. Despite that, if a hack takes place on forums related to hacking than that is commendable and it should be respected.
Also worth noting is the impact of this hack on the forum and its users because The attacker is believed to have stolen the details of more than 200,000 users, the latest user counter listed on the forum. Currently, this forum is put under maintenance mode and only administrators will be able to access it while telling users to enable 2FA as soon as possible.
